Pre's Trail at Alton Baker Park
Free
Parks & Nature
A legendary 4-mile wood chip running trail through Alton Baker Park along the Willamette River, built in honor of Eugene's own Steve Prefontaine — one of the greatest distance runners in American history. The surrounding park offers miles of additional paths, open meadows, the Willamette River, and the beautiful Eastgate Woodlands natural area. A pilgrimage site for runners, and a wonderful free green space for everyone else.
Address: 200 Day Island Rd, Eugene, OR 97401
