Homeschool Discounts in Washington

Big-ticket Washington museums, science centers, and zoos with homeschool days and co-op field-trip rates — typically 30–50% off for kids, sometimes free.

Updated June 2026 · 10 confirmed programs · 0 call-to-confirm

Washington's best homeschool deals run through the big science centers, museums, and zoos in Seattle, Tacoma, and Spokane — plus the children's museums around Puget Sound — mostly via each venue's Homeschool Day or school field-trip program. A homeschool co-op that gathers the 10-to-15-student minimum can book Tacoma's Point Defiance Zoo and LeMay car museum, Spokane's Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture, Bellingham's SPARK Museum, and the children's museums in Everett and Olympia for roughly $6–$15 a student — steep discounts off gates that often run $20–$25.

Two routes show up again and again. A few venues run drop-in Homeschool Days any family can walk into — Seattle's Pacific Science Center ($15 monthly), Woodland Park Zoo's Small Group Days, and the Museum of Flight's $7 Homeschool Days (which also goes free the first Thursday evening of each month). The rest price by group field trip, but a single family can usually join a co-op to clear the 10-to-15-student minimum. Dates and rates shift each term, so confirm on each venue's own site before you go.
