Bubblegum Alley
Free
Quirky Landmarks
A 70-foot-long, 15-foot-high downtown alley walled entirely in chewed bubblegum — California's only proclaimed gum wall and one of the strangest free roadside attractions in the country. Free to walk through, photograph, or contribute to. Tucked off Higuera Street between Broad and Garden in the heart of downtown SLO.
Address: Higuera St (between Broad & Garden), San Luis Obispo, CA 93401
Tip: Bring your own gum if you want to add to the wall — or buy a gumball at nearby SLO Sweets or Rocket Fizz. Best photographed in afternoon light when the colors pop.
